About Us

Our work focuses on improving mental health and wellbeing for people aged 18+ across Caerphilly borough. We offer a range of tenancy, mental health and wellbeing services designed to support people with mental health problems and people who may be struggling with poor wellbeing.

Caerphilly Borough Mind (originally Rhymney Valley Mind) was established as a local mental health group and drop-in in 1987 and is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. We have over 35 years of experience working with and supporting people in Caerphilly borough to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Local Minds provide more services than ever across England, Wales and the Channel Islands from life-changing therapy, support groups, a reassuring chat, to introducing you to people who really understand when you need them most.

Fundraise for your local Mind so they can be there for you and your community. Giving locally means your donation will directly support your local Mind.
